Acrylic, Mirror, Projector, Fog Machine. 8:00 Minutes
The video is created through a physics experiment on fluid instabilities where two fluids, water and viscous glycerin, are pumped into a confined space to create a complex pattern. This pattern manifests prevalent forms of growth in nature, and be detected across a vast range of categories (eg. plants, animals, rivers etc..) These videos are then processed to highlight and distill the outline of the pattern are projected into the fog.
